From camera to AI: everything from a single source for your smart automation.

IDS industrial cameras open up new dimensions in image processing. With our scalable hardware and software solutions, you can seamlessly integrate image processing into your automation and Industry 4.0 infrastructure.

Whether for AI-supported quality control in sustainable production, in robot vision applications in logistics or for complex automation tasks in the healthtech sector - we have the right camera and accessories for you.

Find out here which IDS product innovations you should keep an eye on at automatica:

uEye Live: streaming, monitoring and event recording

The cameras in our new uEye Live series enable monitoring and streaming as well as event-based recording of video sequences in the camera memory. The initial uEye SCP housing variant has been attracting attention since the beginning of the year, and now a uEye SLE single-board camera has also joined the family. With the high-resolution monitoring cameras, you can reliably monitor processes in standalone mode or pixelate faces in live streams based on AI and thus GDPR-compliant.

In front of a tablet running an image processing task, there are uEye Live cameras (including lenses) wired to a network and an RTSP streaming icon next to them.

uEye EVS: Less data, more speed, maximum precision

Explore our uEye EVS camera with the Sony Prophesee IMX636 event-based vision sensor - an industrial camera that only captures pixels that change and ignores static information. Each pixel is effectively a highly sensitive motion detector, ideal for capturing fast object movements without loss of information, such as optical monitoring of vibrations or high-speed motion analyses.

uEye 3D: IDS' first time-of-flight 3D camera

The cost-efficient uEye 3D iToF camera from IDS generates precise 3D data using the 1.2 MP onsemi sensor and integrated depth processing. With a high frame rate and strong ambient light suppression, it produces sharp images without motion blur - even with fast movements and direct sunlight outdoors. The distance data per pixel supplied by the camera can be easily processed further, enabling 3D data to be generated in real time. Thanks to IP67 protection, it is ideal for demanding indoor and outdoor applications.

IDS 3D camera iTof, with silver housing and sharp front, lies on a working surface.

automatica Forum: uEye Live - Industrial cameras for process monitoring

What are the differences between our new uEye Live monitoring cameras and classic industrial cameras? Using various application examples, we explain the key features and show you the possibilities.

  • Speaker: Patrick Schick, IDS
  • Date: Thursday, June 26th 2025, 1:40 p.m.
  • Location: automatica Forum, hall A5

Vision Expert Huddles: Event-based imaging - increased speed, less data

In our presentation, we will introduce you to the innovative functionality of the new event-based uEye EVS cameras. We will show practical applications that were previously hardly possible to realise with conventional image processing and demonstrate how the new sensor technology can be integrated into applications.

  • Speaker: Julian Lopatin, IDS
  • Date: Wednesday, June 25th, 2 p.m.
  • Location: Vision Expert Huddles, Machine Vision Pavilion (hall B5, booth 210)
