12.19 MP sensor for USB and GigE Vision cameras
uEye CP models with IMX226 from the Sony STARVIS series
Starting Q1/2019, the IMX226 rolling shutter CMOS sensor will be available in the GV-5890CP and U3V-3890CP camera models. The STARVIS sensor provides not only a high resolution of 12.19 MP (4016 x 3036 px) but also exceptional light sensitivity and low noise.
Thanks to the STARVIS series BSI ("back-side-illumination") technology, the sensor is ideally suited for tasks that require a perfect result even in low light conditions. It also shows its strengths in application fields such as logistics, machine vision and quality assurance.
Customers can choose between GigE and USB3 interfaces with Vision standard. The 1/1.7" sensor size also allows to choose from a wide range of cost-effective lenses for the uEye CP cameras. The sensor will be available in both colour and monochrome versions.
