Series production: uEye CP cameras with 20 MP Sony sensor
Release of the new firmware version 2.1 and three new camera models
When applications require capturing the smallest details, high-resolution images with low noise are a must. Both are qualities that characterize the 20 MP IMX183 sensor from Sony (5536 x 3692). The sensor is now available in the uEye CP camera models with USB3 Vision interface, which measure only 29 x 29 x 29 mm.
The rolling shutter sensor from the Sony STARVIS series delivers fast 19.5 fps and, thanks to BSI technology ("back-side-illumination"), ensures outstanding image quality and accurate reproduction of the original image - even under poor or varying lighting conditions.
Simultaneously with this camera model, we are also releasing the new firmware version 2.1. Therefore, the camera models U3-3200SE (USB 3.1 Gen1, 12.29 MP, Global Shutter) and U3-3090SE (USB 3.1 Gen1, 8.85 MP, Global Shutter) are now also available.
In addition it enables new Chunk features. You can find more information e.g. in the IDS Vision Reference.
