New camera: uEye+ XCP soon available with 12 MP Sony sensor
Compact USB3 industrial camera to be equipped with IMX412
New sensor for the smallest industrial camera with housing and C-mount: At the end of the year we are launching a new uEye+ XCP model with the 12 MP sensor IMX412. The rolling shutter CMOS sensor from the Sony Starvis range delivers excellent image quality and will not only show its strengths in quality assurance and inspection tasks, but will also be used in small equipment manufacturing. Customers will also benefit from a very good price-performance ratio for the 4K camera. IDS is one of the first major manufacturers to include this sensor in its portfolio.
The budget-friendly industrial cameras in the Vision Standard-compliant uEye+ XCP product line measure just 29 x 29 x 17 mm (W/H/L). They can be used in a variety of applications in both industrial and non-industrial settings thanks to their zinc die-cast housing and lockable USB Micro-B connector. Like all already available uEye+ XCP cameras, the new model is also 100 per cent GenICam compliant. This means that you will be able to easily programme and operate the camera with IDS peak.
