With the compact uEye XC autofocus camera, the choice is yours. In addition to the USB3 Vision standard-compliant variant, IDS now also offers the camera with UVC protocol. Like a webcam, it delivers perfectly sharp images and videos – even with changing object distances and difficult lighting conditions.
Unlike consumer webcams, the uEye XC is designed specifically for industrial requirements. Its components are characterised by long availability. With dimensions of only 32 x 61 x 19 mm (W x H x D) and screw-type USB micro-B connection, the industrial camera can be easily integrated into image processing systems.
Customers can now choose between programmable models - thanks to USB3 Vision protocol - and true plug-and-play functionality realised via the UVC protocol. The abbreviation UVC stands for USB Video Class and means here that no additional drivers are required to set up and operate the model. Connect the cable and get started - it can be so easy!
