The Sony IMX249 provides quite the same features as its "bigger brother" Sony IMX174. It offers the same excellent image quality, and sets the same new standards in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and color reproduction. Users who like to benefit from a budget-priced option, they opt for Sony IMX249.
 
It delivers great image quality with 41 fps in full resolution (perfect for IDS cameras with GigE interface), even in low-light conditions e.g. traffic monitoring or quality assurance.
