Product Life Cycle Camera in series production. 🛈 Product Life Cycle Long-term availability is an important aspect when selecting the right industrial camera. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection. The following life cycle statuses are differed: In development The model is not yet in series production, but will be introduced shortly. In series Camera in series production. Not recommended for new designs The model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. Discontinued The model has been discontinued. You have the opportunity to secure inventory before the end of the last-time-buy order period. See product discontinuations. The U3-3060CP Rev.2.2 with the 2.30 MPix Sony IMX174 (1920 x 1200 px) sensor sets new standards in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and colour reproduction. The USB 3 industrial camera provides excellent image quality and is extremely low-noise - at a frame rate of 161 fps. With its 5.86 µm pixels, the global shutter CMOS sensor of the first Pregius generation from Sony is predestined for applications that are supposed to deliver perfect results even in low light conditions, as well as in automation, quality assurance and robotics.

Additional camera features include long exposure up to 60.0 s and line scan mode.

The U3-3060CP Rev.2.2 is available in both monochrome and colour variants.

This camera model is supported by IDS Vision firmware 2.20 and higher.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Visualisation

Recognize details more accurately - for example, by displaying close-up images on monitors.

Quality assurance

IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.

Biotechnology and life sciences

Image processing can be used, for example, to analyse living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.

Process control

Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.

Robotics

With IDS cameras, robots learn to "see" - this enables applications such as bin picking or (de-)palletizing.
