Product Life Cycle Camera in series production. 🛈 Product Life Cycle Long-term availability is an important aspect when selecting the right industrial camera. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection. The following life cycle statuses are differed: In development The model is not yet in series production, but will be introduced shortly. In series Camera in series production. Not recommended for new designs The model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. Discontinued The model has been discontinued. You have the opportunity to secure inventory before the end of the last-time-buy order period. See product discontinuations. Featuring the Sony Pregius S sensor IMX546, the industrial camera U3-31J0SE Rev.1.2 offers a resolution of 8.13 MPix and reaches 49.0 fps. This square, fourth generation sensor combines Global Shutter and BSI (Backside Illumination) technology. Due to the small pixel size of only 2.74 µm, the available area of the 2/3" CMOS sensor (aspect ratio of 1:1) is optimally utilised. This ensures superior image quality even in changing light conditions. Thanks to these features and different housing variants, you can use the sensor in a wide variety of ways.

Thanks to its USB3 vision interface, the industrial camera is uncompromisingly compliant to the Vision Standard and can therefore be conveniently used with our IDS peak SDK.

The uEye+ SE camera is available as a monochrome or colour version.

Agricultural applications

In the agricultural sector, cameras e.g. monitor plant growth, control the application of fertilisers or inspect the harvest.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Metrology

IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.

Surface inspection

IDS cameras detect cracks, irregularities or other processing defects in optical quality assurance.

Biotechnology and life sciences

Image processing can be used, for example, to analyse living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.
