Cost-optimised and yet fast, the light-sensitive Global Start Shutter, Rolling Shutter sensor IMX290 from the Sony STARVIS series with BSI technology ("back-side-illumination") impresses with outstanding image quality with accurate colour separation and ensures true-to-original image reproduction even under poor or varying lighting conditions. With its very high sensitivity in the close-range infrared spectrum, the sensor of the USB 3 industrial camera UI-3862SE is an excellent alternative to special NIR cameras - with a frame rate of up to 135 fps at 2.12 MPix (1936 x 1096). The small 1/3" sensor format makes a wide selection of cost-effective lenses available.

The UI-3862SE is a small all-rounder in the 2 MP Rolling-Shutter industrial camera class. With line scan mode, sequencer mode and long-time exposure of up to 120.0 s, it finds its place in any application.

The UI-3862SE board level camera without lens holder is available in a colour or monochrome version.

This camera model will be supported beginning with IDS Software Suite 4.92.
