The UI-3864LE AF USB 3 camera with 1/3" Sony IMX290 CMOS sensor provides a resolution of 2.12 MPix (1936 x 1096 px) with superfast 135 fps. The BSI (back side illuminated) rolling shutter sensor of Sony’s STARVIS series is one of the most light-sensitive sensors in our portfolio, offering a truly amazing image quality even in low-light conditions. The colour sensor impresses with a clean colour separation. Thanks to the compact dimensions, this USB 3 camera featuring USB Type-C connector can be integrated easily into a vision system.
The camera's autofocus can be easily configured and triggered via software. This ensures perfectly sharp images in no time at all.
Focus levels can not only be detected automatically, but can also be set manually via software – in other words, without having to touch the lens physically. This allows, for example, a quick change between different, predefined focus levels.
Thanks to its compact dimensions and USB Type-C connector, it can be easily integrated into any image processing system.
On request, the board-level camera is also available with vertical (-VU) USB Type-C alignment. The camera also enables USB power delivery.

USB 3 uEye LE AF board cameras with S-Mount or CS-/C-Mount are suitable for the use and control of liquid lens lenses and offer a practical autofocus function. This enables optimally focused images at variable object distances. The automatic system is based on the "active" liquid lens control of these camera models and can be simply activated by a software trigger. Depending on the application, the autofocus can be individually configured and ensures perfectly sharp images in no time.
The affordable uEye LE industrial cameras feature a USB Type-C port and practical USB Power Delivery. This makes it possible to offer a variable peripheral power supply at the I/O port.
The board level cameras are particularly suitable for logistics systems (e.g. for package acceptance and sorting), for microscopy and traffic monitoring and for installation in small medical or industrial devices.
Especially practical!
USB Power Delivery
For the uEye LE AF industrial camera with USB Power Delivery, IDS offers a variable power supply at the I/O port that can be used to power an LED illumination or a light barrier. This saves cables and power supplies and therefore time and money.
Easy to focus!
Thanks to practical autofocus function
Perfectly sharp images, even with changing object distances or if the lens cannot be reached manually - this is what the autofocus function of the uEye LE AF cameras makes possible.
Fits everywhere!
Compact and space-saving
The board level cameras (36 x 36 x 20 mm) can be installed in the smallest space due to their compact design and are therefore e.g. suitable for embedded systems.

Customer information:
New USB 3 camera technology platform
Due to the worldwide semiconductor shortage with the resulting significant delivery delays, we have developed a new USB3 camera technology platform in the uEye+ product line (match code U3) with identical housings, connectors, sensors, lens holders and features. Electronic components are in stock, prototypes for design-ins for many models are available. Series production of the new USB 3 camera revisions is being established and will then be continuously expanded. The new USB 3 models are ingeniously supported by our Software Development Kit IDS peak.
Due to the prolonged delivery times for our existing cameras, which can continue to be ordered, we are however only offering the newly developed hardware revisions on our website. You can identify these by the revision number "Rev. x.2".
As an existing IDS customer, please contact our sales team for further information.
