SE stands for "Standard Edition", and the newly developed generation of the uEye SE family of cameras which have proven so successful on the market for over a decade truly does set a new USB standard: fast, available in a wide range of models, versatile and user-friendly. The new generation camera has also been systematically designed to handle fast, large area CMOS sensors and exploit the bandwidth of the USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface to the full. It is also compact, rugged, and a special sensor seal makes it extremely dust-proof. It is available optionally as a housing or board level version with a range of lens holder options; OEM variants are also possible. Besides the USB Type-C screw mounting, the uEye SE also has an 8-pin Hirose connector for trigger and flash (optically decoupled) and two GPIOs (each with 3.3 V), enabling many application functions for industrial use. Also for the uEye SE industrial camera, with USB Power Delivery IDS offers a variable power supply at the I/O port which can be used to power an LED light source or a light barrier. This reduces the need for cables and power packs, and so saves time and money.

These features together with a wide selection of global and rolling shutter CMOS sensors make the uEye SE the new standard for countless industrial and non-industrial applications.

Due to the high performance of modern sensors some uEye SE USB 3.1 Gen 1 models are not supported in the USB 2.0 mode. The USB 2.0 interface doesn't provide enough power. More information can be found in the uEye camera manual.
