Just plug it in and be ready! The uEye XC autofocus camera behaves like a webcam. For this purpose it has a UVC interface (USB Video Class). The advantage is that no separate drivers are needed for operation. You always get razor-sharp images and videos - even with constantly changing object distances or difficult lighting conditions. The camera is equipped with the CMOS sensor AR1335 from onsemi and provides FullHD. The sensor delivers and ensures detailed images. Thanks to BSI ("Back Side Illumination") pixel technology, the AR1335 excels not only with outstanding low-light performance, but also with low pixel noise. The camera also offers convenient functions such as auto white balance and colour correction.

The UVC camera was developed explicitly for industrial requirements. Its components have been specially selected with long-term availability in mind. This is a decisive advantage over consumer webcams. Only a cable connection is required to operate it.

With its practical magnesium die-cast housing, low weight and screw-type USB Micro-B connector, the autofocus camera can be used in a variety of ways in both industrial and non-industrial settings. These include, for example, analysis tasks in laboratories and diagnostics, use in kiosk systems, logistics and robotics applications.
