The single-board UI-3884LE USB 3 camera with 1/1.8" Sony IMX178 rolling shutter CMOS sensor from the STARVIS series provides very high resolution of 6.4 MP (3088 x 2076 px) and delivers frame rates up to 60 fps at full resolution. The CMOS boardlevel camera is perfect for tasks in microscopy, medical engineering, astronomy, and metrology. Due to its speed and sensational light-sensitivity, it is a cost-driven option for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) or any other application with low or changing light conditions. It also offers a long exposure of up to 120 seconds. Thanks to the compact dimensions and the single-board construction, this USB 3 camera featuring USB Type-C connector can be integrated easily into an embedded system.

The board-level versions are available with vertical (-VU) or horizontal orientation of the USB Type-C connector.

The UI-3884LE with CS-mount lens holder is available as colour or monochrome version.

Extension ring CS-mount to C-mountThe CS-mount version comes with an extension ring which enlarges the flange back distance by 5 mm. This allows use of C-mount lenses with the camera.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Metrology

IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.

Astronomy

Reach for the stars with IDS cameras - image processing shows information that is difficult or impossible for humans to grasp.
