For excellent image quality even in low light scenarios or when the camera should take pictures of fast-moving objects: the cost-effective global shutter CMOS sensor IMX273 from the Sony Pregius series excels through its image quality, high sensitivity and wide dynamic range. With a resolution of 1.58 MPix (1456 x 1088 px) at 3.45 µm pixels, it delivers impressive 250 fps when used with the USB3 Vision industrial camera U3-3040SE. This makes this camera ideal for cost-sensitive and demanding machine vision applications such as surface inspections, detailed image analysis in medical technology or traffic applications.

Special functions such as long-time exposure up to 2,000.0 ms or the linescan mode for using the industrial camera as a line scan camera also extend the range of possible applications.

The U3-3040SE is available in both monochrome and colour variants.

This camera model is supported by IDS Vision firmware 2.0 and higher.

Compact and robust: The uEye SE ("Standard Edition") is the all-round industrial camera with a broad sensor portfolio and countless variants. It has proven itself in industrial use for over a decade. It is consistently designed to support even large-format and fast CMOS sensors and to make best use of the bandwidth of the USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface.
In addition to a screwable USB Type-C connector, the uEye SE with USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface has a screwable 8-pin Hirose connector for trigger and flash (optically decoupled) as well as two GPIOs (each with 3.3 V). This makes them a popular choice for a wide range of applications in single or multi-camera operation. The integrated pixel pre-processing reduces the load on the host PC.

All uEye SE models are available either as a housing variant with a special, extremely dust-tight sensor seal or as a board level camera with various lens mount options. The range of applications is therefore very wide and covers fields such as automation, mechanical engineering, the packaging industry and traffic monitoring.
Note:
Due to the high performance of modern sensors, some uEye SE USB 3.1 Gen 1 models are not supported in USB 2.0 mode. The USB 2.0 interface does not provide sufficient power for this. Further information can be found in the IDS Software Suite manual.
