The single-board UI-3882LE VU USB 3 camera with 1/1.8" Sony IMX178 rolling shutter CMOS sensor from the STARVIS series provides very high resolution of 6.4 MP (3088 x 2076 px) and delivers frame rates up to 60 fps at full resolution. The CMOS boardlevel camera is perfect for tasks in microscopy, medical engineering, astronomy, and metrology. Due to its speed and sensational light-sensitivity, it is a cost-driven option for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) or any other application with low or changing light conditions. It also offers a long exposure of up to 120 seconds.
Thanks to the compact dimensions and the single-board construction, this USB 3 camera featuring USB Type-C connector can be integrated easily into an embedded system.
The board-level versions are available with vertical (-VU) or horizontal orientation of the USB Type-C connector.
The UI-3882LE VU without lens holder is available as colour or monochrome version.

Small and versatile: Whether as a version with coated plastic housing and C-/CS-Mount or as a single-board version with or without C-/CS-Mount or S-Mount - uEye LE cameras are cost-saving project cameras with a wide variety of lenses and sensors.
Since they are reduced to the essential functions, uEye LE models are particularly cost-effective. Their lightweight, coated plastic housing is robust enough to withstand industrial environments.
The board-level versions, available either with horizontal or vertical USB connector, also have a 10-pin I/O SMD connector for GPIO, trigger and flash. USB Power Delivery enables to offer a variable power supply for periperal devices at the I/O port.
The cameras are particularly suitable for small device projects and integration into embedded systems. They also show their strengths in medical technology, robotics and classic machine vision applications.
Especially practical!
USB Power Delivery
For the uEye LE industrial camera with USB Power Delivery, IDS offers a variable power supply at the I/O port that can be used to power an LED illumination or a light barrier. This saves cables and power supplies and therefore time and money.
Wide range of applications!
Particularly versatile
These uEye LE cameras are available without lens holder, with S-Mount or C-/CS-Mount in the board-level version as well as with CS-/C-Mount in the housing version. The board level variants are also available with vertical or horizontal USB Type C alignment.
Fits everywhere!
Compact and space-saving
Both the board level variants (36 x 36 mm) and the cameras with housings (47 x 46 x 26.3 mm) can be installed in the smallest of spaces due to their compact design.

Customer information:
New USB 3 camera technology platform
Due to the worldwide semiconductor shortage with the resulting significant delivery delays, we have developed a new USB3 camera technology platform in the uEye+ product line (match code U3) with identical housings, connectors, sensors, lens holders and features. Electronic components are in stock, prototypes for design-ins for many models are available. Series production of the new USB 3 camera revisions is being established and will then be continuously expanded. The new USB 3 models are ingeniously supported by our Software Development Kit IDS peak.
Due to the prolonged delivery times for our existing cameras, which can continue to be ordered, we are however only offering the newly developed hardware revisions on our website. You can identify these by the revision number "Rev. x.2".
As an existing IDS customer, please contact our sales team for further information.
