The UI-5140CP Rev. 2 GigE industrial camera with the fast 1.31 megapixel global shutter PYTHON 1300 sensor from ON Semiconductor is the ideal choice for capturing moving objects in industrial applications. The sensor's large, light-sensitive pixels in conjunction with the FPN correction feature implemented by IDS produces excellent, stripe-free images.

Additional functions such as eight times multi AOI, IDS line scan mode, or HDR mode with knee points make the GigE camera a versatile machine vision camera. The camera's frame rate can also be increased, thanks to the horizontal and vertical read-out feature.

Incredibly fast, incredibly reliable, incredible sensors: the uEye CP stands for "Compact Power" and is the tiny powerhouse for industrial applications of all kinds. It offers maximum functionality with extensive pixel pre-processing and, thanks to the internal 120 MB image memory, is also perfectly suited for multi-camera systems. The cameras deliver data at full GigE speed and, thanks to PoE ("Power over Ethernet"), also enable single-cable operation up to 100 metres.
Users can choose from a large number of modern CMOS sensors from manufacturers such as Sony, CMOSIS, e2v and ON Semiconductor with different resolutions.

Due to its innovative, patented housing design with dimensions of only 29 x 29 x 29 millimetres and best processing quality, the camera makes even designer hearts beat faster. In addition, screwable cables ensure a reliable electrical connection.
The cameras are suitable, for example, for tasks in fields such as automation, automotive, printing and packaging, medical technology and life sciences, agriculture, logistics as well as traffic and transport. The uEye CP with GigE interface also performs excellently on robot gripper arms.

It's so easy!

Plug & Play principle

The cameras are automatically detected in the system and are immediately ready for use. Buy a camera, connect it, receive an image - it couldn't be easier!

Full Ethernet power!

Single cable operation up to 100 m

Full GigE transmission rate and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) functionality with a cable length of up to 100 m. The cameras also feature a screwable 8-pin Hirose connector for GPIO, trigger and Flash.

Extremely compact!

Dimensions 29 x 29 x 29 mm

The small magnesium housing is as light (approx. 50 grams) as it is sturdy. This underlines the uncompromising industrial suitability of the cameras. They are ideal for space-critical applications and particularly suitable for use in multi-camera systems or on robot arms.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Quality assurance

IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.

Inspection applications

IDS cameras can be used to check for completeness or material defects and to detect defects or bar/matrix codes.

Barcode reading

In addition to process automation and logistics, IDS cameras also reliably recognize barcodes in other industries.
