The UI-5482LE is fitted with the 4.92 megapixel CMOS sensor (MT9P031STM). About half an inch in size, the sensor delivers a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels as well as rolling and global start shutter features. The sensor is extraordinarily sensitive and is a real megapixel CCD replacement.

The various shutter modes provide ideal parameters for every application to produce sharp, low-noise images.
