We are very familiar with being a pioneer: IDS was one of the first companies to use USB as an interface for digital industrial cameras. At VISION 2018, we are demonstrating with new models, functions and applications that the IDS NXT platform of vision app-based industrial cameras can change the image processing industry in a similarly sustainable way.
There are also pioneering new developments in the field of 3D vision – with Ensenso XR, for example, we are presenting the first stereo camera of the series that can calculate 3D point clouds itself. Many additional highlights will await visitors at the trade show, such as focusable USB 3.1 Gen 1 industrial cameras with liquid lenses, concept studies with extra fast 10 Gigabit Ethernet cameras, camera prototypes with a Sony polarisation sensor and additional models. On the following pages you can get a first impression of these products. Our team is looking forward to welcoming you for a personal talk at our booth 1F72 in hall 1.
New models, functions, sensors, communication interfaces and even "on-camera neural networks": VISION visitors are the first to experience the groundbreaking developments of the vision app-based camera platform IDS NXT.
From pick & place to quality assurance: Ensenso 3D cameras from IDS prove themselves in a wide variety of application scenarios. A prototype of the new Ensenso XR camera family will be presented for the first time at VISION.
Extra performance: whether cameras with on-pixel polarizer, “Active Focus” or concept studies with 10 GigE interface – at VISION, IDS is showing image processing solutions that add that little bit extra.
