Dirk Ströker

Dirk Ströker has more than 20 years of experience in image acquisition and processing for microscopic applications.
After studying physics at the University of Münster, specializing in nonlinear optics and secondary neutral particle mass spectrometry, he began his professional career in microscopy at Soft Imaging System in 2004. There, he played a key role in developing innovative solutions in the field of image acquisition for microscopy. In the course of his career, he deepened his expertise in product and project management at Olympus Soft Imaging Solutions and Evident Technology Center Europe.

A particular focus of his work is the development and optimization of image processing pipelines—from raw data acquisition to the final color image—with a clear focus on precise color reproduction and the highest image quality. Dirk Ströker is a certified EMVA 1288 expert and is involved as a guest lecturer at the Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences on the subject of digital image creation.
