Checking image quality in IDS peak Cockpit and making the most of auto features

Zwei neue How-to-Videos im Vision Channel

Our IDS peak series continues with two closely related videos. The first shows you how to assess your camera’s image quality. The second explains how automatic functions adjust the camera image to changing conditions.

In the first video, Rob Webb guides you through the analysis tools in IDS peak Cockpit. Using the line profile, Pixel Viewer and crosshair, you can check brightness, focus and white balance. If required, you can examine individual pixels and perform simple measurements without leaving IDS peak Cockpit.

The second video builds on this by covering automatic image optimisation. It looks at the automatic controls for brightness, white balance, black level and focus, including the settings they adjust. You will also see how to configure these functions for your application.
