Ensenso 3D camera enables exact positioning of installation points
Precision is everything in modern aircraft manufacturing. Every drill hole and every fastening point must be positioned with absolute accuracy to ensure safety and quality.
As part of the DiCADeMA (Digital Cabin Architectures and Design for Manufacturing) project led by the German Aerospace Center (DLR), a novel, fully digitally networked process has been developed. This approach takes aircraft cabin manufacturing to a new level through intelligent automation. A key role is played by an Ensenso 3D camera, which enables the highly precise detection and alignment of drilling positions.
