How can small, fast-moving objects be captured as efficiently as possible and without motion blur? How can movements generally be analysed without generating large amounts of data? With the brand new uEye EVS camera with event-based sensor.
The ultra-compact USB3 camera visualises movements of any speed in real time and completely loss-free. Thanks to its extremely high dynamic range, this can even be realised in almost complete darkness. At the same time, it significantly reduces the amount of data.
All made possible by the Sony/Prophesee IMX636 event-based vision sensor. In contrast to conventional image sensors, it does not capture every image at regular intervals (frames), but only reacts to changes within a scene. It therefore transmits events depending on when and where the brightness in its field of view changes.
