How to ensure stable camera access and save your recordings with IDS peak Cockpit
IDS peak video series on the Vision Channel
In June, we launched our video series on IDS peak, the software package for working with our industrial cameras. We would like to take this opportunity to recommend two videos from this series.
To ensure stable image processing operations, you always need reliable access to your cameras – even after system reboots and changes to the network environment. In the first of the two videos, Rob Webb explains how to configure a static IP address for an IDS GigE camera in the IDS peak Cockpit.
You can record everything the camera sees in the IDS peak Cockpit: from single frames to automated video sequences. The second video explains how to efficiently store image data for offline analysis and how to adapt the recording settings to your application. It also covers manual and automated saving, as well as how to balance image quality, frame rate and system load to ensure stable operation.
