Product Life Cycle Camera in series production. 🛈 Product Life Cycle Long-term availability is an important aspect when selecting the right industrial camera. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection. The following life cycle statuses are differed: In development The model is not yet in series production, but will be introduced shortly. In series Camera in series production. Not recommended for new designs The model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. Discontinued The model has been discontinued. You have the opportunity to secure inventory before the end of the last-time-buy order period. See product discontinuations. Compact 24.55 MPix industrial camera with convenient GigE Vision interface for high-precision tasks: The GV-51R0CP Rev.2.2 delivers 5.0 fps and, thanks to its high resolution of 5328 x 4608 (pixel size 2.74 µm), keeps a close eye on all details.

The 1.2" Global Shutter CMOS sensor IMX540 is one of the fourth generation sensors in the Sony Pregius S series - excellent image quality for demanding applications without motion artefacts is therefore a given.

The sensor of this industrial camera features BSI technology ("Back Side Illuminated") and is particularly sensitive to light. This model is therefore also suitable for use in low-light conditions.

Measuring just 29 x 29 x 29 mm, the camera is available in monochrome and colour versions. We recommend using it in combination with our versatile IDS peak SDK.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Metrology

IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.

Quality assurance

IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.

Document scanning

Efficient capture of document content, for example for documentation or process automation.

Factory / process automation

Cameras are used in monitoring, control, regulation and optimization systems and help e.g. with localization and selection tasks.

Electronics inspection

Cameras can check the geometry of printed circuit boards, detect the presence and absence of components as well as dirt and inspect solder joints.
