The GV-54E0CP Rev.2.3 model uses the 1/1.8" Rolling Shutter sensor IMX664 from the fourth generation of Sony's STARVIS 2 series. With 4.15 MP (2704 x 1536 px) and 30.2 fps, the GV industrial camera offers a well-balanced combination of resolution and speed. The STARVIS 2 sensor delivers high image quality, extremely low image noise and pronounced NIR (near-infrared) sensitivity. Thanks to Clear HDR, it also provides image data with a very high dynamic range. In addition, the anti-reflection coating improves image quality by reducing or completely preventing flares caused by direct light incidence.

Image data pre-processing is performed directly on the camera. The FPGA computes compatible pixel formats for common machine-vision software and supports an asynchronous hardware trigger with reset. This starts the sensor exposure at exactly the desired time. An integrated 128 MB on-camera memory ensures secure data transfer - particularly in multi-camera systems.

Typical fields of application include quality assurance, metrology and robotics. As part of the uEye CP series, the lightweight and robust camera is especially well suited to space-constrained applications, such as use in multi-camera systems or on robot arms.

Depending on the application, the industrial camera is available with either a colour or mono sensor.
