The 5 MP variant with Sony IMX675 is designed for applications that require higher detail resolution while maintaining a stable frame rate. At 24.6 fps, the camera remains responsive even in dynamic scenarios. The 1/2.8" Sony sensor delivers 5.11 MP (2608 x 1960 px) and demonstrates its strengths particularly in low-light conditions. This is primarily due to its very low image noise and high sensitivity in the NIR (near-infrared) range.
Clear HDR also enables image data with a very high dynamic range even with moving image content. In addition, the integrated anti-reflection coating significantly reduces flares caused by direct light incidence or prevents them altogether.
Image data pre-processing is performed directly on the camera. The FPGA computes compatible pixel formats for common machine vision software and enables the sensor exposure to be triggered asynchronously, ensuring that images are captured at exactly the desired moment. An integrated 128 MB on-camera memory additionally ensures secure data transfer - particularly in multi-camera systems.
The match code GV-54F0CP Rev.2.3 represents a compact camera with 29 × 29 mm housing, a robust metal enclosure, flexible connectivity and powerful Sony STARVIS 2 sensors, designed for a wide range of applications including metrology, quality assurance, mechanical engineering, and factory and process automation.
The industrial camera is available with either a colour or mono sensor.
