The uEye CP with Sony IMX678 (match code GV-54J0CP Rev.2.3) combines a high resolution of 8.39 MP (3856 x 2176 pixels, pixel size 2.00 µm) with a frame rate of 14.9 fps. The modern 1/1.8" Rolling Shutter sensor from the Sony STARVIS 2 series delivers excellent image quality with a very high dynamic range thanks to Clear HDR and strong performance in low-light conditions. An anti-reflective coating reduce reflections even under changing lighting conditions.

Image data pre-processing and interface logic are handled by the on-camera FPGA. Asynchronous triggering enables precise control of sensor exposure in response to external events independent of fixed frame rates. Typical fields of application include metrology, quality assurance, mechanical engineering, and factory and process automation.

An integrated 128 MB on-camera memory ensures secure data transfer, particularly in multi-camera systems.

The GigE Vision industrial camera is optionally available with a colour or mono sensor.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

IDS Industriekamera integriert in einer Maschine.
Metrology

IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.

IDS Industriekameras integriert in einer Prüfvorrichtung.
Quality assurance

IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.

Mechanical engineering

From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.

Factory / process automation

Cameras are used in monitoring, control, regulation and optimization systems and help e.g. with localization and selection tasks.

Robotics

With IDS cameras, robots learn to "see" - this enables applications such as bin picking or (de-)palletizing.

Sports and motion analysis

Image data can be used for match analyses or to optimize motion patterns, such as golf swings or cycling.
