The intelligent industrial camera IDS NXT malibu enables video streaming in perfect image quality at full sensor resolution of 2048 x 1536 px.
It performs image analysis independently and outputs the results as live overlays in compressed video streams via RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol). In addition, users can view the camera's live image in any web browser via HTTP stream (MJPEG compressed).
With the 3.15 MP Sony IMX900 Global Shutter sensor from the Pregius series, fast movements can be captured without distortion and with excellent image sharpness, even under demanding conditions. Despite its small 1/3.1" sensor area, it impresses with high light sensitivity and stable image quality, even in unfavourable or oblique lighting conditions.
A special SoC from Ambarella enables live AI vision directly on the embedded vision platform. The combination of perfect image quality, on-camera AI + compression + video streaming allows completely PC-independent operation.
The IDS NXT malibu has a compact, industrial-grade housing with a GigE interface and offers a REST API.
