Product Life Cycle Camera in series production. 🛈 Product Life Cycle Long-term availability is an important aspect when selecting the right industrial camera. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection. The following life cycle statuses are differed: In development The model is not yet in series production, but will be introduced shortly. In series Camera in series production. Not recommended for new designs The model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. Discontinued The model has been discontinued. You have the opportunity to secure inventory before the end of the last-time-buy order period. See product discontinuations. Be it with colour or mono sensor, board-level or housing - if you want to use the 12.42 MPix Sony IMX545 sensor from the Pregius S series, you can choose from many different variants here. The 1/1.1" fourth generation sensor combines Global Shutter and BSI technology. Another feature are the pixels, which are only 2.74 µm in size and provide a significantly higher pixel density. This means that the sensor is about 20 per cent smaller diagonally than sensors of the same resolution of the second Sony Pregius generation. Users benefit from outstanding image quality that makes even demanding machine vision applications easily possible.

The U3-31L0SE Rev.1.2 industrial camera delivers 32.0 fps. Thanks to its USB3 vision interface, this uEye+ SE model is uncompromisingly compliant to the Vision Standard and can therefore be conveniently used with our IDS peak SDK.

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.

Metrology

IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.

Surface inspection

IDS cameras detect cracks, irregularities or other processing defects in optical quality assurance.

Electronics inspection

Cameras can check the geometry of printed circuit boards, detect the presence and absence of components as well as dirt and inspect solder joints.

Photovoltaics / solar cell inspection

IDS cameras can be used, for example, to check geometry and saw marks and to identify defects.
