The U3-3261SE Rev.1.2 with the cost-effective 2.30 MPix Sony IMX249 (1920 x 1200 px) sensor sets new standards in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and colour reproduction - just like its "big brother" IMX174. The USB 3 industrial camera provides excellent image quality and is extremely low-noise - at a frame rate of 47.0 fps. With its 5.86 µm pixels, the global shutter CMOS sensor of the first Pregius generation from Sony is predestined for applications that are supposed to deliver perfect results even in low light conditions, as well as in automation, quality assurance and robotics.
Additional camera features include long exposure up to 90.0 s and line scan mode.
The U3-3261SE Rev.1.2 board level camera with C-mount lens holder is available in a colour or monochrome version.
This camera model is supported by IDS Vision firmware 2.0 and higher.
Compact and robust: The uEye SE ("Standard Edition") is the all-round industrial camera with a broad sensor portfolio and countless variants. It has proven itself in industrial use for over a decade. It is consistently designed to support even large-format and fast CMOS sensors and to make best use of the bandwidth of the USB 3 (5 Gbps) interface.
In addition to a screwable USB Type-C connector, the uEye SE with USB 3 (5 Gbps) interface has a screwable 8-pin Hirose connector for trigger and flash (optically decoupled) as well as two GPIOs (each with 3.3 V). This makes them a popular choice for a wide range of applications in single or multi-camera operation. The integrated pixel pre-processing reduces the load on the host PC.
All uEye SE models are available either as a housing variant with a special, extremely dust-tight sensor seal or as a board level camera with various lens mount options. The range of applications is therefore very wide and covers fields such as automation, mechanical engineering, the packaging industry and traffic monitoring.
Due to the high performance of modern sensors, some uEye SE models are not supported in USB 2.0 mode. The USB 2.0 interface does not provide sufficient power for this. Further information can be found in the IDS Software Suite manual.
For virtually all applications
The uEye SE cameras are available in different versions - including compact, sturdy metal housings and practical board level versions with or without front flange. This makes them a popular choice for a wide range of applications.

New USB 3 camera technology platform
Due to the worldwide semiconductor shortage with the resulting significant delivery delays, we have developed a new USB3 camera technology platform in the uEye+ product line (match code U3) with identical housings, connectors, sensors, lens holders and features. Electronic components are in stock, prototypes for design-ins for many models are available. Series production of the new USB 3 camera revisions is being established or has already started and will then be continuously expanded. The new USB 3 models are ingeniously supported by our Software Development Kit IDS peak. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection.
Due to the prolonged delivery times for our existing cameras with USB 3 interface, which can continue to be ordered, we are however only offering the newly developed and ready-to-order hardware revisions on our website. You can identify these by the revision number "Rev. x.2".
As an existing IDS customer, please contact our sales team for further information.
