Product Life Cycle Camera in series production. 🛈 Product Life Cycle Long-term availability is an important aspect when selecting the right industrial camera. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection. The following life cycle statuses are differed: In development The model is not yet in series production, but will be introduced shortly. In series Camera in series production. Not recommended for new designs The model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. Discontinued The model has been discontinued. You have the opportunity to secure inventory before the end of the last-time-buy order period. See product discontinuations. The Sony Pregius IMX265 is together with its big brother IMX252 probably the best CMOS image sensor in the 3 MP class. The USB3 Vision industrial camera U3-3270CP Rev.2.2 with the 1/1.8" global shutter sensor transmits its resolution of 3.19 MPix (2064 x 1544 px) with a frame rate of 58.0 fps via the USB interface. In terms of dynamic range, sensitivity and linearity, the camera is second to none and inspires industrial customers in mechanical engineering, metrology and medical technology.

Special functions include 90.0 s long exposure and the linescan mode for using the area scan camera as a cost-effective line scan camera alternative.

The U3-3270CP Rev.2.2 is available in both monochrome and colour variants.

This camera model is supported by IDS Vision firmware 2.20 and higher.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Metrology

IDS cameras detect objects and provide accurate information, such as their dimensions or positioning.

Mechanical engineering

From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.

Biotechnology and life sciences

Image processing can be used, for example, to analyse living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.

Electronics inspection

Cameras can check the geometry of printed circuit boards, detect the presence and absence of components as well as dirt and inspect solder joints.

Pharma and healthcare

By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.
