The USB3 Vision industrial camera U3-3886LE Rev.1.2 with the rolling shutter CMOS sensor Sony IMX178 offers a very high resolution of 6.41 MPix (3088 x 2076 px), which is ideal for visualisation tasks in microscopy and as a cost-efficient option for intelligent traffic monitoring systems (ITS). The sensor from the Sony STARVIS series features BSI technology ("back-side-illumination") and is one of the most light-sensitive sensors with a low dark current close to the SCMOS range (Scientific CMOS). It provides impressive results even under extremely low light conditions. In combination with our USB3 Vision industrial cameras, the Sony IMX178 delivers frame rates of up to 59.0 fps at full resolution. Thanks to the 1/1.8" sensor size, a wide range of C-mount lenses is available for the U3-3886LE Rev.1.2 camera model.

Special functions such as long-time exposure also extend the range of possible applications.

The U3-3886LE Rev.1.2 is available in both monochrome and colour variants.

This housing variant allows the use of particularly small, low-cost S-mount (M12) lenses.

Small and versatile: Whether as a version with coated plastic housing and C-/CS-Mount or as a single-board version with or without C-/CS-Mount or S-Mount - uEye LE cameras are cost-saving project cameras with a wide variety of lenses and sensors.
Since they are reduced to the essential functions, uEye LE models are particularly cost-effective. Their lightweight, coated plastic housing is robust enough to withstand industrial environments.

The cameras are particularly suitable for small device projects and integration into embedded systems. They also show their strengths in medical technology, robotics and classic machine vision applications.

Particularly versatile

These uEye LE cameras are available without lens holder, with S-Mount or C-/CS-Mount in the board-level version as well as with CS-/C-Mount in the housing version. The board level variants are also available with vertical or horizontal USB Type C alignment.

Both the board level variants (36 x 36 mm) and the cameras with housings (47 x 46 x 26.3 mm) can be installed in the smallest of spaces due to their compact design.

New USB 3 camera technology platform

Due to the worldwide semiconductor shortage with the resulting significant delivery delays, we have developed a new USB3 camera technology platform in the uEye+ product line (match code U3) with identical housings, connectors, sensors, lens holders and features. Electronic components are in stock, prototypes for design-ins for many models are available. Series production of the new USB 3 camera revisions is being established and will then be continuously expanded. The new USB 3 models are ingeniously supported by our Software Development Kit IDS peak.

Due to the prolonged delivery times for our existing cameras, which can continue to be ordered, we are however only offering the newly developed hardware revisions on our website. You can identify these by the revision number "Rev. x.2".
