What a camera! The USB 3 UI-3001SE industrial camera with the IMX253 large area, 1.1“ CMOS sensor delivers pin sharp, clear, noiseless 31.0 fps in full resolution (12.34 MPix, 4104 x 3006 px) via the USB interface. It is compliant with the most stringent of requirements in terms of resolution, speed and image quality, and demonstrates impressive technical characteristics, with regard to sensitivity for instance (quantum efficiency QE @ 533 nm = 61 %).

The UI-3001SE is used most often in classical machine vision applications, where fast moving objects must be detected, or in microscopy, where particularly high sensitivity is demanded.

Its extremely low dark noise level also makes it suitable for applications in the biosciences. Its range of possible applications is expanded still further with special features for which IDS is well known, such as the sequencer mode for changing parameters in real time, or the line scan mode which enables the industrial camera to be used as a line scan camera.

The UI-3001SE board level camera with C-mount lens holder is available in a colour or monochrome version.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Factory / process automation

Cameras are used in monitoring, control, regulation and optimization systems and help e.g. with localization and selection tasks.

Biotechnology and life sciences

Image processing can be used, for example, to analyse living organisms and biological processes - from swarm behaviour to cell division.

Food & beverage

To ensure the highest food quality - camera technology e.g. detects contaminants and helps with sorting tasks and fill level monitoring.

Pharma and healthcare

By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.
