Many applications in machine vision and robot vision for handling, production, logistics, and inspection can only be realized using 3D imaging. Since several years the Ensenso cameras from IDS address the need for reliable 3D data quality and high performance in many different industrial setups all over the world. Their active stereo technology using texture projection can cover small to large fields-of-view and long distance ranges based on single-shot or burst-like acquisitions, thus allowing for dynamic scenes and static setups. The Ensenso N, X, and XR series together with the EnsensoSDK offer great flexibility in configuration and operation that is well-received for innovative use cases.
