Daniel Abbou

Daniel Abbou has been Managing Director of the German AI Association since May 1, 2020, and is responsible for political communication, press relations, and supporting funding projects. Prior to this, he founded AI Hub Europe and advised politicians and companies on issues relating to artificial intelligence. His career has taken him to various finance and economics ministries as a press spokesman, including as spokesman for former Finance Senator Ulrich Nußbaum. He was deputy government spokesman in Kretschmann's first cabinet in Baden-Württemberg. His enthusiasm for digitalization and innovation has accompanied him since his early days as a television and radio journalist specializing in new technologies.
