Consistent evolution of the C series: Ensenso C57 becomes C67
New model variants with hardware enhancements increase robustness and flexibility in use
With the Ensenso C67, Optonic responds to customer feedback on the popular C57 and continues the consistent development of the C series. Targeted hardware updates have been implemented and the portfolio has been expanded with additional model variants.
The M8 IO connector has been replaced by an M12 connector. This improves robustness, mechanical stability and operational safety. In addition, new variants with a smaller stereo vergence angle of 3° are now available. This reduces shadowing at the edges of large objects. Edges are captured more completely and gaps in peripheral areas occur less frequently. For colour imaging, the C67 now uses an 8 MP sensor. This enables colour textures with significantly higher resolution. At the same time, a 2D RGB image with noticeably improved image quality is available for processing tasks.
For users, these incremental improvements provide greater flexibility when designing applications.
