The motherboard including the sensor is separated from the daughterboard including the GigE interface by a flex ribbon cable. Both the flex ribbon cable and the daughterboard are optionally available. The motherboard with single-board GigE camera UI-5244LE including CS-mount and glass filter is suitable for applications in very small or angled spaces. It features a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor by e2v, available as NIR version (EV76C661) or colour/monochrome version (EV76C560). Providing 1.3 MP resolution (1280 x 1024), frame rates up to 50 fps and compact dimensions of 45 x 45 mm, the camera is the perfect solution for OEM projects.
Please note that a daugtherboard as well as a flex ribbon cable is essential for the functionality.

Economical Gigabit Ethernet single-board cameras for integration in small devices or embedded vision systems with a large variety of lenses and sensors: The GigE uEye LE is optionally available with an M12 lens holder for mounting S-Mount lenses or CS-Mount on selected models.
Due to their compact design, the cameras are ideal for space-critical applications. As they are reduced to the essential functions, uEye LE models are also particularly cost-effective. Cables up to a total length of 100 meters can be used on these models.
The power supply also provides flexibility: Power can be supplied either by the two-pin marshaling panel or by the 10-pin connector. The two integrated status LEDs make it easy to see when the camera is ready for operation.
The cameras are particularly suitable for small device projects and integration into embedded systems. They also show their strengths in medical technology, robotics and classic machine vision applications.

The optional "motherboard" version of the GigE uEye LE with ZIF plug offers even greater flexibility. A wide range of remote boards with RJ45 ports can be connected via Flex ribbon cables.

New USB 3 camera technology platform
Due to the worldwide semiconductor shortage with the resulting significant delivery delays, we have developed a new USB3 camera technology platform in the uEye+ product line (match code U3) with identical housings, connectors, sensors, lens holders and features. Electronic components are in stock, prototypes for design-ins for many models are available. Series production of the new USB 3 camera revisions is being established or has already started and will then be continuously expanded. The new USB 3 models are ingeniously supported by our Software Development Kit IDS peak. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection.
Due to the prolonged delivery times for our existing cameras with USB 3 interface, which can continue to be ordered, we are however only offering the newly developed and ready-to-order hardware revisions on our website. You can identify these by the revision number "Rev. x.2".
