Product Life Cycle Camera in series production. 🛈 Product Life Cycle Long-term availability is an important aspect when selecting the right industrial camera. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection. The following life cycle statuses are differed: In development The model is not yet in series production, but will be introduced shortly. In series Camera in series production. Not recommended for new designs The model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. Discontinued The model has been discontinued. You have the opportunity to secure inventory before the end of the last-time-buy order period. See product discontinuations. The UI-5261SE Rev.4.2 Gigabit Ethernet industrial camera with the IMX2492.35 MPix CMOS sensor from Sony offers the standard image formats 4:3 and 16:9. At full resolution of 1936 x 1216 pixels, it delivers 47 frames per second, fully utilising the GigE bandwidth. With its exceptionally high dynamic range and outstanding signal/noise ratio, it ensures high-contrast and practically noise-free images, which are impressive even in weak or fluctuating lighting conditions.

Special functions such as long exposures (30 seconds) and a line scan mode implemented by IDS extend the range of applications in the factory automation environment.

The UI-5261SE board level camera with C-mount lens holder is available in a colour or monochrome version.

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.

Visualisation

Recognize details more accurately - for example, by displaying close-up images on monitors.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Quality assurance

IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.

Inspection applications

IDS cameras can be used to check for completeness or material defects and to detect defects or bar/matrix codes.

Food & beverage

To ensure the highest food quality - camera technology e.g. detects contaminants and helps with sorting tasks and fill level monitoring.

Small device construction

Compact and powerful - IDS cameras can be easily integrated into small devices such as handheld scanners or other portable systems.

Process control

Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.

Pharma and healthcare

By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.

Endless web inspection

Whether steel, paper or fabrics - IDS cameras always keep an eye on their test object and detect, for example, material defects or stains.
