We have developed one of our systems for a customer in the field of concrete blocks. These have a high product variety and are produced at a speed of 1 m/s. Through preML, it was possible to implement the development of a 3D inspection system that additionally detects anomalies such as heaves, chipping, holes, cracks, etc. In its most advanced version, the system combines image data from a 3D and a 2D sensor to maximize quality control. As part of the project, preML provided the core AI and classical algorithms to detect defects in the 2D and 3D images. Our system can be adapted to other stone products with little effort.
