Product: Sealant inspection
Sealant is applied to the flange of a battery housing in the form of two beads. With an optical inspection system, both beads are checked for continuity and presence after application. The fluorescent properties of the material make a 2D inspection with UV light possible. The camera system is moved along the edges of the housing on an axis gantry.
