New, budget-friendly camera family with basic functions
Our basic camera portfolio is about to grow! The new camera family will receive the name uEye XLS. This indicates that it is a mini variant ("small") of the popular uEye XLE series. Actually, the models will be the smallest IDS board-level cameras in the range. And this is not all: their power consumption and heat generation are also remarkably low.
We plan to launch them with onsemi AR0234 as well as Sony IMX412 and IMX415 sensors. These models are designed for users who - e.g. for embedded applications - require particularly low-cost, extremely compact cameras with and without lens holders (CS- and S-mount) in high volumes. Look forward to Vision Standard-compliant project cameras with various sensors and trigger options. We also offer budget-friendly cables and lenses to match these affordable cameras.
The uEye+ XLS cameras are positioned in our low price segment, which also includes the uEye XCP and XLE families. uEye+ XCP cameras have a completely closed zinc die-cast housing with only 29 x 29 x 17 mm. This makes them the smallest industrial cameras with housing and C-mount lens holder on the market. In the uEye XLE series, you can choose from single-board cameras with or without C-/CS-mount or S-mount lens mount, as well as models with coated plastic housings.
Thanks to Vision Standard compatibility, all these models can be used with any GenICam-compliant software. With our IDS peak software development kit, we also offer you enhanced convenience and simplicity when developing your image processing application and operating your camera.
