Your requirements - our solution. In developing the uEye XLE family, we have focused on essential camera functions and have thus consistently optimised the models in terms of costs. Their versatile design, a practical USB3 interface (SuperSpeed USB, 5 Gpbs) and support of the USB3 Vision Standard ensure a wide range of applications. The compact industrial cameras can be ordered as of now.
Customers can choose between boardlevel cameras with or without C-/CS-mount / S-mount and variants with coated plastic housing. Thanks to their space-saving dimensions of only 36 x 36 mm and USB Type-C connector, they can be easily integrated into any image processing system. The models fit into the smallest of spaces, for example as embedded vision solutions.
Initially, the new uEye XLE cameras feature the light-sensitive 5 MP sensor onsemi AR0521. Thanks to its BSI ("Back Side Illumination") pixel technology, the sensor offers outstanding performance, especially in poor or changing lighting conditions. This makes the cameras ideal for outdoor use, for example in traffic and transport applications. With high-resolution data and low noise, they also excel in demanding image evaluation in industrial applications, such as surface or detail inspections.
The cameras can be used with any software that supports the USB3 Vision standard. For an optimal user experience we recommend the use of IDS peak. The SDK can be downloaded free of charge from our website.
