20 MP, 2 interfaces: new uEye+ CP models with Sony sensor IMX541
Production start of USB3 and GigE vision industrial cameras in "sugar cube" size
We now offer the compact uEye+ CP industrial cameras with the light-sensitive global shutter sensor IMX541 from the Sony Pregius S series - both as variants with USB3 and GigE interfaces. The models are only 29 x 29 x 29 mm in size and have a C-mount connector.
We have optimised the C-mount front flange for the 1.1" sensor, pushing the limits of what is feasible. This allows us to open up a new quality level for the camera family in terms of resolution and image quality.
The special characteristics of the large-format CMOS sensor are not only the small pixels (2.74 µm), but also the combination of global shutter and BSI technology ("Back Side Illuminated"). This results in first-class image quality that leaves nothing to be desired, even in demanding machine vision applications. These include surface inspections, detailed image evaluation in medical technology or use in logistics and traffic monitoring.
