The U3-3262SE Rev.1.2 with the cost-effective 2.30 MPix Sony IMX249 (1920 x 1200 px) sensor sets new standards in terms of light sensitivity, dynamic range and colour reproduction - just like its "big brother" IMX174. The USB 3 industrial camera provides excellent image quality and is extremely low-noise - at a frame rate of 47.0 fps. With its 5.86 µm pixels, the global shutter CMOS sensor of the first Pregius generation from Sony is predestined for applications that are supposed to deliver perfect results even in low light conditions, as well as in automation, quality assurance and robotics.

Additional camera features include long exposure up to 90.0 s and line scan mode.

The U3-3262SE Rev.1.2 board level camera without lens holder is available in a colour or monochrome version.

This camera model is supported by IDS Vision firmware 2.0 and higher.

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Traffic and transport (ITS)

Keeping an eye on everything - IDS cameras recognize vehicles, check the traffic flow or help with rail and road inspections.

Visualisation

Recognize details more accurately - for example, by displaying close-up images on monitors.

Medical technology (and laboratory automation)

Image processing is indispensable in medical technology. For instance, IDS cameras provide data for diagnostic purposes in ophthalmology or dentistry.

Quality assurance

IDS cameras are used in different production phases, e.g. by checking completeness or by detecting defects.

Inspection applications

IDS cameras can be used to check for completeness or material defects and to detect defects or bar/matrix codes.

Food & beverage

To ensure the highest food quality - camera technology e.g. detects contaminants and helps with sorting tasks and fill level monitoring.

Small device construction

Compact and powerful - IDS cameras can be easily integrated into small devices such as handheld scanners or other portable systems.

Process control

Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.

Pharma and healthcare

By using cameras, it is possible to check e.g. whether packaging is correctly filled and printed or whether there are any impurities.

Endless web inspection

Whether steel, paper or fabrics - IDS cameras always keep an eye on their test object and detect, for example, material defects or stains.
