Product Life Cycle Camera in series production. 🛈 Product Life Cycle Long-term availability is an important aspect when selecting the right industrial camera. Our camera finder gives you the life cycle of each camera model so that you can take this criterion into account in your camera selection. The following life cycle statuses are differed: In development The model is not yet in series production, but will be introduced shortly. In series Camera in series production. Not recommended for new designs The model is no longer recommended for new application development. We suggest looking for newer models of the "in series" availability. Discontinued The model has been discontinued. You have the opportunity to secure inventory before the end of the last-time-buy order period. See product discontinuations. The GV-51J0CP Rev.2.2 is a compact industrial camera with a convenient GigE interface, equipped with the square CMOS sensor IMX546 from the Sony Pregius S series. This offers a resolution of 8.13 MPix (2856 x 2848 px) and achieves 15.0 fps. The fourth generation sensor combines Global Shutter and BSI (Backside Illumination) technology. These characteristics help to capture moving objects without blurring or to increase the sensor's sensitivity to light. As the pixel size is only 2.74 µm, the available area of the 2/3" sensor (aspect ratio 1:1) is used in the best possible way - for optimum image quality even in changing light conditions and maximum capture of the image content of a scene.

The industrial camera is fully compliant with the Vision Standard and can therefore be used perfectly with our IDS peak SDK.

The uEye+ CP camera is available as a monochrome or colour version.

Machine vision

Industrial image processing is used in a wide variety of applications - from quality assurance to automation.

Mechanical engineering

From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.

Electronics inspection

Cameras can check the geometry of printed circuit boards, detect the presence and absence of components as well as dirt and inspect solder joints.

Small device construction

Compact and powerful - IDS cameras can be easily integrated into small devices such as handheld scanners or other portable systems.

Process control

Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used e.g. for the intermediate and final inspection of products.

Logistics

Cameras are indispensable in the logistics sector - e.g. for (de-)palletizing tasks, sorting tasks or in autonomous vehicles.
