Result overlays in video stream
The intelligent industrial cameras work with a powerful SoC (System on Chip) from Ambarella. It enables AI-based image analysis directly on the camera. Inference results, such as detected objects or anomalies, can optionally be displayed as overlays in the live stream and transmitted to connected systems in full sensor resolution via RTSP or HTTP.
Users benefit from high-quality image processing, MJPEG or H.264 compression and visualisation in the web browser without additional software. The AI cameras can save relevant image data internally as video sequences or transfer it to FTP servers.
AI and ISP "on the edge"
The integrated ISP (Image Signal Processor) offers automatic functions such as brightness control, lens distortion correction and colour optimisation. In combination with the light-sensitive sensor, the camera delivers outstanding image quality even in difficult lighting conditions. The embedded solution eliminates the need for an external PC, which lowers energy consumption and reduces system costs.
IDS NXT oslo: AI camera with the highest degree of protection
The IDS NXT oslo combines smart image processing with an IP69K-certified housing for use in extreme conditions. Thanks to the matching tube and M12 connectors, the camera remains reliably protected even in harsh industrial or agricultural environments.
Streamable AI cameras for smart applications
The IDS NXT malibu and IDS NXT oslo combine powerful industrial hardware with intelligent image processing directly on the camera. Thanks to on-camera inference, they process visual information at high speed, make autonomous decisions and react intelligently to complex, dynamic scenes - without the need for an external PC. In combination with the intuitive IDS lighthouse software, AI-based applications such as classification, object tracking or anomaly detection can be created without programming using sample images.
