uEye FA Strong in factory automation
Robust and durable industrial camera with PoE
The uEye FA industrial camera can withstand even the harshest conditions. With its IP65/67 ingress protection code and lense tube, it is optimally protected against dirt, dust and water. Thanks to the Gigabit Ethernet interface, the camera enables fast data transmission (1Gbps) and supports Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) for efficient power supply via a single cable, thus reducing cabling costs. With its integrated image memory and extensive range of accessories, it is ideal for multi-camera operation and demanding applications in factory automation. Internal camera functions such as pixel pre-processing, LUT or gamma reduce the required computing power to a minimum.

Built to last!
Particularly robust thanks to IP65/67
The camera housing with lens tube and the screw-lock connectors (8-pin M12 plug with X-coding and 8-pin Binder plug) meets the requirements of ingress protection code IP65/67. The models in the uEye FA industrial camera series are therefore optimally protected against dirt, dust and splash water in harsh environments.

Full 1Gbps GigE transmission rate!
Single-cable operation up to 100 m
The uEye FA cameras can be operated either with 12-24 V or alternatively as an isolated PoE setup (Power-over-Ethernet). Power-over-Ethernet enables practical single-cable operation up to a maximum length of 100 m.
It‘s so easy!
Plug & Play principle
The cameras are automatically recognized in the system and are immediately ready for use. Buy camera, connect camera, receive image - it couldn't be easier!
"The uEye FA is the right camera for when things get a bit rough - with robust IP65/67 protection, fast GigE data transmission and Power over Ethernet, it is perfect for factory automation."

Applications for factory automation with GigE Vision

Factory and process automation
Cameras are used in monitoring, control, regulation and optimization systems and help for example with localisation and selection tasks.

Process control
Cameras check the material supply in the process and are used, for example for the intermediate and final inspection of products.

Mechanical engineering
From inspection on the production line to controlling entire systems - camera technology helps to ensure smooth processes.

Logistics
Cameras are indispensable in the logistics sector - for example for (de-)palletizing tasks, sorting tasks or in autonomous vehicles.

Printing
IDS cameras check colour and positioning, among other things, and thus ensure a perfect print image for packaging, labels or newspaper printing, for example.
